Our Perchés Principles :

BEST HUMAN : “Be your best human” is our motto, and we make it a point of honor to raise our audience’s awareness of values such as respect for kindness, consent and non-judgment. This involves filling in a moral commitment questionnaire before accessing the box office.

ECOLOGY : Our aim is to develop a zero-waste festival that leaves no trace of its presence at the castle That’s why we’re encouraging the “bring your own cup” system, to avoid single-use plastic. We’ve set up cup-holders at the various bars, pocket ashtrays are distributed at the festival entrance, and biodegradable soap is provided free of charge at the showers.

A selective sorting brigade is on hand to help festival-goers adopt an eco-responsible approach.

The festival is strictly vegie, and we provide reusable crockery for our stands and foodtrucks.

The provision of shuttles from 8 cities is a strong ecological commitment. This year, our goal is to have 40-50% of the public come by shuttle from : Nantes, Rennes, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lille, Dijon, Lyon, Etampes and the immediate vicinity of Paris, with a reinforced shuttle service from the nearest RER station.

SAFEPLACE : The “Safe Place” is a place where you can let go and relax, where aggression is banned and kindness rules.

AWAKENING : Château Perché has been designed to awaken the senses and body awareness through immersive, interactive activities, as well as the mind, with debates, exhibitions and performances.

HEALTH BREAKS : Quiet times from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. are essential to enable festival-goers to fully enjoy the festival. The balance is found through some very intense phases and some more restful ones.
